What can I do now?

St. Luke's Mission of Mercy depends on the help that many individuals and groups give to them. There are many ways to help as there are people. Some people give their time and talent, Others support the Mission financially, while others pray for the work. Here are some of the ways that you may be able to help:

  • Pray for all of those we strive to serve and all those who come to St. Luke's seeking the love of God
  • Pray for us, for our community and our ministries
  • Volunteer at the Good Shepherd Residence
  • Volunteer in the Kitchen preparing meals, serving, or cleaning up
  • Volunteer in the office of the Mission with the door or the phone
  • Volunteer to do repair work at the Mission or houses owned by the Mission
  • Volunteer in the Mission Mall with sorting clothes and other donations
  • Volunteer to pick up or deliver donated furniture
  • Volunteer to tutor young students from the neighborhood
  • Volunteer to drive people to appointments
  • Volunteer to help at monthly and holiday food giveaways
  • Volunteer to help at various fundraising events throughout the the year
  • Collect food for the kitchen or canned goods for the food pantry
  • Collect new or used clothes For the Mission Mall
  • Collect toiletries or paper goods
  • Sponsor an individual or a family for gifts at Christmas time
  • Pray for and with us at daily Mass or Sunday Mass or in Eucharistic Adoration
  • Pray for and with us at the St. Faustina Novena in October and the Divine Mercy Novena during Easter Week
  • Support us financially in whatever way God directs you
